Board proposes ‘Day of Quiet’ on Sundays, mails out annual dues

The Secret Woods board is proposing an amendment to the neighborhood covenants that frowns on homeowners doing any outdoor work on Sundays that involves mechanical devices that emit noise. The proposed amendment would also prohibit “offensive activities” which “may become a nuisance or annoyance to the neighborhood.”A copy of the proposed change is below.  Double click the image to enlarge the print size. According to the neighborhood covenants, 75 percent of homeowners must approve any change.

The ballot has been mailed to all homeowners along with the annual dues ($325) and annual homeowners meeting notice. The annual homeowners meeting will be Monday, May 12, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Southpoint Baptist Church, 3335 Tiger Hole Rd.
