MINUTES OF SECRET WOODS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION MEETING

Date of Meeting: October 3, 2016

Location: 3125 Chapelwood Lane

Board Members Present: David Theus, Katherine Frazier, Sharon Snow, Mark Wnuk and Pam Miles

Neighbors Present: Byron DeLong, David Hargnett and Beth Reiney

Meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. The minutes from the September 2016 board meeting were accepted as written. Financial statements were not available and will be emailed to board members by Mark Wnuk.

OLD BUSINESS:

Fall Chili Cook-off: The date is Saturday, October 15 th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Pam Miles is coordinating. She will post A sign up sheet the week of October 11 th at the mailboxes.

Tennis Court Erosion: Back corner needs some major work. No update available.

City Workshop: Workshop on Covenants and Restrictions is full. We are on a waiting list.

New Neighbors: Lot 50, 3222 Chapelwood Lane is now occupied. A welcome package can be purchased and delivered.

Pool House Water Fountain: Mike Byrd checked out pricing on a new fountain. Motion by Katherine Frazier and seconded by Mark Wnuk, to purchase a new fountain up to $500. Motion carried.

Pool Keys: More pool keys are needed. Motion by Mark Wnuk, seconded by Sharon Snow, to purchase keys up to $150. Motion Carried.

NEW BUSINESS:

Architectural Review Committee: Final approval needed for one neighbor.

Luminaries: Materials need to be ordered. The date has been set for Saturday, December 17 th . David will map out the houses. Assembly of the bags will be at the December 1 st board meeting. Meeting place TBD.

Award Committee: The three judges will be David Hargnett, Katherine Frazier and David Theus.

MISCELLANEOUS AND LOT CONCERNS:

Lot Concerns: Discussion.

Other items from Board Members: Beth Reiney presented the pricing of the new fencing around her yard which includes part of the pool area. Motion by Katherine Frazier, seconded by Pam Miles, to approve up to $400 for our part of the fencing area around the pool.
