Neighborhood News Date: March 13 Get ready for the luau and check your neighbor's times Several residents from Secret Woods ran in the 2010 Gate River Run. You can check times here. Be sure to mark March 27th down on your calendar. We'll be having a luau to welcome spring at the pool. Get the details in the March minutes. Date: Feb. 13 Plans for spring luau announced Although it may not feel like it, it's not too early to start thinking about spring. Plans are underway for a poolside luau. Read about it in the February minutes. Date: Jan. 9 2009 Christmas display winners announced Congratulations to the Derek Hood and his family for winning 1st place in the Creative Christmas category and to Bob and Sally Feely for winning 1st place in the Traditional Category. Watch the photo slideshow of all the winners. Thanks to Marianne Pophal for heading up the judging and photos and to everyone in the neighborhood that helped brighten the holidays. Date: Dec. 21 Enjoy our neighborhood's holiday decorations Our homes are in their full holiday splendor. Take some time to walk or drive through Secret Woods. You can also listen to 24/7 Christmas music on the Holiday channel of RadioJax through the end of the year. For the latest neighborhood news read the December minutes. Date: November 21 Dan and Laurie Flynn won first place in the 2009 chili cook-off but they had plenty of stiff competition and the deserts were certainly winners as well.
