Homeowner could face bill from city if property isn’t cleaned up

A city inspector has examined a home on Misty Creek Lane. 

Minutes of Secret Woods Homeowners Association Meeting

Date: September 11, 2012

Board Members Present: David Theus, Ross Thompson, Rob Hagen, Mark Wnuk, Jamie Montgomery, Mark Lemmenes, and Dan Flynn.   Byron DeLong was also present.

Order of Business: Quorum certified and meeting called to order. Minutes from July meeting were approved. Financials read and approved. CDs at the bank matured in July. New CDs will be established and interest will automatically role into checking account.

Normal expenses paid for August were reviewed. Diving signs installed at pool and the invoice was paid to the pool company.

Old Business: N/A

New Business: New Stopple letter for realtors has been prepared. Two homes have been sold and new resident’s fee collected.

Letter sent to house on Misty Creek for their yard appearance. The city inspector also came to look at the condition of the property and visited with a board member to discuss the condition of the property. The city inspector informed the HOA that on the next visit the city can clean the property and place a lien on the property after the cleanup.

Luminaries – A committee will be established for luminaries to label bags and pack them with candles & bags. Mark Wnuk will be in charge of the committee.

Neighborhood Garage Sale – Motion to approve up to $50 for ads and garage sale signs. We will have information on the Website, in Craigslist, and please watch the board for further information.

Pool Keys – Motion for $75 was approved for the purchase of new pool keys for new homeowners and replacement keysMotion was approved to continue charging $25 for a second pool key if an original key is lost and $100 if another pool replacement key is needed within one year after the 1st replacement key is issued Violation Letter has been delivered to homeowner on Secret Woods to remove a boat from his driveway.

This has been an on-going problem for an excessive period of time. Legal action will be considered.

Miscellaneous: Architectural committee approved fencing for lot 120.Service reports from Lake Doctors received.

Next Meeting: October 9th at Ross’s House.

With all matters discussed and no further business at hand, the meeting was adjourned.
