Neighborhood pool maintenance approved

Date: August 5, 2013

Board Members Present: David Theus, Mark Wnuk, Dan Flynn, Sharon Snow, and Mark Lemmenes.   Byron DeLong was also present.

Discussion of the proposed budget took place and line items for landscaping and parties were adjusted prior to a motion being made and the budget approved. Landscaping budget amount increased to $2,800 from $500 and parties decreased from $1,000 to $300. Income from new homeowners was also discussed and added for those new homeowner’s fees that have been paid.

Old Business: All homeowners have paid their dues for this fiscal year. (David) Audit of Financial records needs to take place. (Rob)

New Business: A motion was made and approved to spend up to $75 on a sign for the pool area for “Pool Rules”. (Dan) A motion was made and approved to spend up to $35 for a sign to be posted at the tennis court stating bikes, scooters & rollerblades are not allowed on the court. (Dan) A motion was made and approved to spend up to $815 to replace a broken light in the pool.

Paradise pool previously provided an estimate. This will also solve a minor leak issue at the pool. (Dan) The pool is licensed for swimming from DAWN TO DUSK as stated at the pool.

Conversation took place concerning night swimming.A motion was made and approved to spend up to $550 for pump and new valves in the pool. Paradise pool provided the estimate. (Dan) Neighborhood workday was discussed with conversations about the landscaping. (Mark L.)

Miscellaneous: Movie night at the pool was well attended and a great success. Thanks to everyone who attended.
