Lake & Wetland Management Takes Over Care Of Secret Woods Ponds

The neighborhood ponds are now being maintained by Lake and Wetland Management, which replaced the Lake Doctors.

MINUTES

1. Certified Quorum: Sallie, Dan, Matt, Rebecca, Tracy, and Ramses.
2. Called to Order at 6:33 P.M.

3. Approval of Previous Minutes- approved
4. Financials

7880. Report: An overview of expenses and balances was given. Lake and Wetland Management, which replaced Lake Doctors, is to be paid monthly. The first check has been written to Classic Marcite for $7880.40. Two JEA meters were shut off due to an error. $128 was paid, service is restored, and everything is current.

5. Old Business
   1. Dan and Sallie. First check has been paid to Classic Marcite. Discussion about possibly financing part or all of the remaining balance. Sallie will find out more information about loans and interest rates.
   2. Ponds: Dan. Lake and Wetland Management.  Switch has been made.
   3. Yard of the month sign: Byron. Thank you to Byron for repairing the sign! Rebecca delivered instructions for the Yard of the Month sign and Byron will put them on the back of the sign.
   4. Home with lien: Dan. HOA will not be pursuing the lien as it is too expensive.
   5. Signboard on Goodnow: Byron. An estimate of $40.00 for a pane of tempered glass. Lee & Cates is $212.00 for glass and installation. Discussion of different types of materials as the signboard receives a lot of sunlight. Will revisit project at a later date when it becomes a necessity.

6. New Business
   1. Getting ready for homeowners’ annual meeting.

Letters need to go out in April. Homeowners need 30 days notice before the annual meeting. Location TBD.

7. Miscellaneous and Lot Concerns

1. Violations. Still watching 2 lots, small improvements on both.
2. Architectural Review Committee: a couple of homeowners have inquired re: painting their homes and possible pavers. All painting projects have been approved.
3. Items from Board Members & guests

Two neighbors want to find a way to help neighbors that are in need. Board discussed different options.
